How Companies Can Achieve Smart Water Use

A new survey from Forbes Insights and Ecolab found that of 308 U.S. and European executives, 88% agreed that cutting water use in their organization’s operations could reduce energy use, but only 34% strongly agreed that their organization takes a holistic approach to enterprise-wide water management.
How to close the gap between Saying and Doing?
“Industrial water use is very localized by nature, meaning that in order to progress on enterprise-wide targets, leaders must implement changes at the site-by-site level in a coordinated fashion that adds up to collective or holistic outcomes,” Calvin Emanuel, vice-president and general manager of sustainable growth solutions at Ecolab.
