Stabilizer Tower Corrosion Control
Corrosion is a known issue in stabilizer tower operations, specifically if there is chloride contamination. The chlorides can potentially combine with the ammonia in the system to form ammonium chloride salts resulting in under-deposit corrosion. Due to the relatively small amount of water in the system, corrosives may concentrate where there is aqueous condensation. Nalco Water corrosion inhibitors and salt dispersants mitigate corrosion and increase reliability.
